Madagascar’s international academician Ibrahim Amada has signed a contract with Al Markhiya Sporting Club, a club playing in the second division of the Qatari league, until the end of the season. This is the seventh club in the career of Ibrahim, one of the key elements of the Barea of Madagascar.
Ibrahim Amada, who will soon turn 31 on 28 February, has chosen to try a new adventure at the club. He signed on Monday, February 8, the club currently ranked 5th in the second division of the Qatari championship after 13 days.
He arrives from Al Khor, a club playing in the first division of the Qatari championship. He played for the club from 2019-2020, and notably shone in midfield in his first season, before being used less in the second season.
Trained at the Ny Antsika Academy in Madagascar, Ibrahim Amada tried his hand at a foreign adventure at the age of 21 in 2011, joining JS Kabylie in Algeria. He stayed there for 8 years, playing successively for AS Khroub, USM El Harrach and ES Sétif.
It is in August 2019, unable to stay in Algeria (visa problem), the day after the great epic of the Barea at the CAN 2019, that Ibrahim Amada chose to leave Algeria to expatriate in Qatar, with Al Khor.
