About Sanogo Moussa

An unpredictable player with technical gestures from elsewhere, Moussa was an artist at heart, inventive and surprising. During the Rezé tournament in which the class 2 “Armando” participated for the first time, he even managed to alienate all his partners. Indeed, from a distance, he rushed to the side and eliminated several opponents against Ajax Amsterdam’s U17. Almost on the goal line at the first post, while his partners, including Salomon Kalou, were waiting for the ball in the centre line, he “hid” his gesture and wanted to surprise the opposing goalkeeper, for whom it was an inevitable step back: he hit the first post and put the ball in the small outside net!!!
A clear missed opportunity, to the great displeasure of all its partners and even the public who are committed to their cause for the beautiful football played during the tournament…. While qualification was within reach! Taken aback by everyone, the young man does not understand well, despite all the frustration on the other side. He came out right away, to understand…. However, this will not calm the young striker’s whimsical enthusiasm.
On tour, later, in the interior of the country with the same promotion, against the Bouaké Alliance, well before the match, the JMG coach asked him to simplify his game to have more efficiency and respect the spirit of the game, otherwise he would be laid off for some time. The starting boy seems to have integrated it, during the controlled match, which is delivered by the whole team. Until, he triggered one of his accelerations on the left side again.
After a one-two with one of his midfielders, when he receives a ball set back in the goal axis that is ideal for a tight-footed flat, Sano lets the leather pass between his legs and the scorpion’s gesture, with the opposite heel, puts the ball in the bottom of the net. Stupefied within his team: He had just done exactly the opposite of the instructions of the JMG coach that he had received before the kick-off, MALGRAVED THE SPLENDID GOAL registered!!!! The certainty of seeing their friend suffer the anger of the coach, ignores the enthusiasm that would normally follow such an aesthetic achievement. But, reaction point on the bench side…. The JMG coach was at the end of the action, giving instructions to one of the assistants and had not seen the gesture!
To the great relief of all…. But the match was filmed by channel 2 of Ivorian television, which covered the tour, and JMG should not see the action afterwards, when watching…. Arrangements have been made by the partners with the reporting team.
Sano will keep this fantasy in the game even afterward and even once in Europe, but with a little moderation…. If he had not been hindered by incessant injuries, probably due in large part to his style, which exposed him to the blows of his opponents and strained his muscles and joints in an excessive way, even against nature, sure that he would have been another Dindané by his ability to hit and dislocate the defences…
