About Badjan

Considered the best right-back of his generation and one of the best of all generations. When it was announced to him that he was leaving for Beveren to join other academics there to start his professional career, coach Lambert was surprised to see him find out if he was being considered for his usual position, as he did not think it was possible to “move” there, Emmanuel Eboué who already held this position. We see here all the modesty of the young man, yet so experienced in the same position: knowing how to recognize without animosity the talent of others. Proof of great humility was already one of his qualities… Unfortunately, a poorly treated sprain at ASEC will not allow him to pursue a career commensurate with his talent.
