[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The children of the Djekanou Academy had a nice surprise on 2 June 2021. At 4pm the most successful academician, Yaya Tour\u00e9<\/a>, arrived.
\nYaya<\/a> had contacted Diabis<\/a>, his older brother from the Academy who is now the coach of the youngsters at Djekanou, to ask him if he could come by, see the kids and play with them.<\/p>\n

Diabis<\/a> kept it a secret. And at 4pm, when the kids came out of their nap, they saw the big Yaya<\/a> appear, they all wondered if it was a dream or if it was really him, present and ready to exchange balls with them.
\nWith their eyes full of stars, the training started, with the promotion 1 a Kiperkit, 5 against 5 with close goals, Yaya<\/a> was joker in the game.
\nIt was a rewarding day for our academics.
\nThis is the Academy, a family, the big ones come to meet the little ones. Let’s hope that we never lose this spirit, that we never forget the maxim written on the wall of the Johan refectory of the first academy in Abidjan: “You will be great if you know how to stay small”.<\/p>\n
